Maybe this book means more to me because the Lilith character reminds me of more than one woman I've known (and had doomed affairs with) in my life. Trying to be somewhat objective, I think it's a very well-written and well-characterized novel. It actually spurred me on to read other Salamanca work which I'll deal with when time permits.4/5. Mark Rogers has given us his best character yet in Lilitu, the sixth book in the Zanchartus series. The book tells us the story of Lilitu from Blood+Pearls & Jagutai+Lilitu from birth until shortly before the events of those books.

THE LILITU is the sequel to Toby Tate's novel LILITH. This is the beginning of Lilith's story and now the reader can understand where the Lilitu came from.
